The leaf clean up…what we would do, and the order of operations for that, is we would, with blow packs, blow all of the leaves from the perimeter of the property, blow out the tree wells, window wells, flower beds, rock beds, just to get as many of the leaves as possible onto the lawn to then be raked and bagged. It’s pretty simple and the reason that you don’t want the leave the leaves, I guess with lawn care I could say one thing and someone will say the complete opposite and both might be right or both might be wrong, but with my experience with leaf cleanup, and from what I’ve heard and seen, is it’s best to get the leaves up off the lawn. It will allow the grass to breathe in the spring or into the winter. To help with water retention, oxygen getting down to the root system. Ants and other pests love to feed on decaying leaves so that’s my big reason why I like to clean those leaves up. It’s actually really good to have the leaves in the flower beds if you can because that’s where bees and caterpillars, and as you know that is where our butterflies and bees come from. They like to kind of hibernate in the flower beds with the leaves. So you can leave the leaves in the flower beds, but if you don’t want to do that then we’re happy to take them away.
